Exploring Hub is a Child care Centre located in Blacktown, western sydney who offers full educational programs for children between 0-6 years of age, based on your child’s interest and needs. Exploring Hub is committed to providing quality care in an environment which is safe, secure and supportive. Exploring Hub believes that children are unique and capable of making their own decisions about their play and learning. We consider it is important to develop reciprocal relationships between children, staff and families and thus base our educational program on the rich interactions that happen spontaneously and purposely. - Provides opportunities for children to explore social, spiritual and emotional wellbeing
- Facilitates experiences that encourage experimentation, problem solving and hypothesising
- Focuses on encouraging positive social interactions and the development of literacy, numeracy and creative skills
At Exploring Hub our staff are committed to engaging in pedagogical practices that support the development of the whole child. Our purposely set up environment is aesthetically pleasing, stimulating and encourages the building of positive relationships using resources that are consistent with the cultural makeup of the community. We ensure that our practices are deliberate and identify the diverse needs of our families and are consistent with their individual lifestyles.
At Exploring Hub Early learning centre in Blacktown our staff regularly engage in reflective conversations with key stakeholders (children, parents, community, colleagues and centre management) which support the decisions made about future experiences. Aims Of Exploring Hub Child Care Centre in Blacktown
Exploring Hub child care centre in Blacktown aims to provide a warm family like environment in which all children are treated as special individuals. The staffs at Exploring Hub child care centre are highly qualified and experienced and their aims are to build a trusting and secure environment for both children and parents.
Exploring Hub child care centre’s Curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Frame work that has been developed by the Council of Australian Governments. The five learning outcomes of the EYLF Curriculum are designed to capture the integrated and complex learning and development of all children across the Early Childhood age group.
The outcomes are cantered around the following concepts, that;
- Children have a strong sense of identity.
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world.
- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing.
- Children are confidant and involved learners.
- Children are effective communicators.
These outcomes are broad and acknowledge that children learn in a variety of way and vary in their capabilities and will ultimately learn at their own pace. Over time children engage with increasingly complex ideas and learning experiences, which equip them for other environments and situations.
Each Childs individual learning in relation to the five key areas is influenced by the Childs current capabilities, dispositions and learning preferences and from the input and experiences with each Childs family community.
Children’s learning is ongoing and each child will progress towards the outcomes in different and equally meaningful ways. Learning is not always predictable and linear; we plan with each child and the outcomes in mind.
