Waiting List Policy of Centre

Sometimes, there may be a waiting list for child care services and to ensure the system is fair, the Australian Government has “Priority of Access Guidelines” for allocating places in these circumstances. The guidelines only apply to Child Care Benefit approved child care. They are used when there is a waiting list for a child care service or when a number of parents are applying for a limited number of vacant places.

Every Child Care Benefit approved child care service has to abide by the guidelines and tell you about them when you enrol your child into care.

When Exploring Hub is at Capacity, before putting you on a waiting list, the ‘Priority of Access Guides are followed’ After these guides have been followed and there are still no positions available, you will be put on a waiting list which requires an Administration fee of $50.00. This fee is non-refundable, however your child will stay on Exploring Hub’s waiting list until a spot becomes available. Once a spot becomes available and you wish to take up that spot, a bond of $250.00 and $50.00 administration fee  is to be paid to secure the spot.

For more information on waiting lists please contact the Director of Teaching during business hours.
